|MCN Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion: Where are we, and where are we headed?||
|Thursday, November 15, 2018||2:45 PM - 3:45 PM|
|Venue: The Curtis Hotel|
|Room: Peek a Boo (2nd floor)|
For several years, the MCN community at large has been concerned with advancing accessibility and inclusive practices. Conscious of our gaps in this area, in 2017 the MCN Board started a Working Group dedicated to weaving inclusive practices into the organization's fabric.
In this session, the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Working Group will report out on our work to date, including research we’ve conducted, and seek input from attendees about future directions and priorities to ensure that MCN can foster more equitable and inclusive spaces and can better serve and support traditionally underrepresented or otherwise marginalized groups within our community and beyond. The session will hold MCN accountable and actively engage with the community on this important issue.
This session will be conducted under the Chatham House rule.
