For the past 44 years, MCN has provided a forum for leading cultural organizations to share and advance the thinking around emerging technologies and trends in our sector. We invite you to join brands such as Google, MailChimpPiction, Gallery Systems, and others, in New Orleans from November 1-4, 2016. Your presence at MCN ensures that leaders from some of the largest cultural and visitor attractions worldwide will engage and learn from your brand.

Expanding strategic partnerships that include opportunities for sponsors is a core goal of MCN’s current Strategic Plan. We consider commercial partners, like your company, intrinsic to the fabric of our community – without your support, the annual conference would not be possible – and earlier this year, we asked many of you how we might better meet your needs. In response, we’ve made changes to our sponsorship offer that we believe will provide more ways for you, and your company, to connect with decision-makers across the cultural sector.

What’s new this year?

  • “Partners in Conversation”: a new conference program series pairing an MCN commercial partner with a senior museum professional for a conversation on a current museum technology topic. The 30-minute sessions are an opportunity to demonstrate thought leadership on key issues facing the sector. The sessions are available to four sponsorship levels, including the new Partners in Conversation Sponsor;
  • Market Trends: another new sponsorship level that supports MCN new focus on providing market intelligence to the sector.  The Market Trends Sponsor will partner with MCN on the development of an annual survey co-presented by Sponsor and MCN;
  • Contact data for pre-registrants in advance of the conference. For the first time, attendee data will also include interest areas (CRM, social media, mobile, analytics, etc.) that will enable you to maximize your conference strategy.

Last year, the conference attracted record attendance, and we expect the 2016 conference to sell out. We have a limited number of slots for sponsors. If you’re interested in participating, let’s set up a brief call to discuss opportunities. Thank you and we hope you’ll consider joining us in New Orleans!
