2017 is a milestone year for MCN as it turns 50! Founded in 1967 by a group of museum professionals eager to explore how computers could change their work and that of museums, MCN has provided a space for our community to connect, share their experience and learn from each other, in order that we advance the thinking around emerging technologies in museums. Much has changed in the past 50 years, but what sparked MCN to life then, remains unchanged today – this is a testament to its vibrancy and relevance as we continue to lead our museums into the future.

Among the sponsorship opportunities available this year, “Partners in Conversation” – a conference program series pairing a commercial partner of MCN with a senior museum professional for a conversation on a current museum technology topic. The 30-minute session is an opportunity to demonstrate thought leadership on key issues facing the sector. The sessions are available to four sponsorship levels (Presenting Sponsor, Ignite Sponsor, Keynote Sponsor, and Partners in Conversation Sponsor).
Also available is our “Market Trends Sponsor” – a sponsorship level that supports MCN new focus on providing market intelligence to the sector. The Market Trends Sponsor will partner with MCN on the development of an annual survey co-presented by Sponsor and MCN.
