Isabel Brador

Isabel Brador
Collections Assistant and Metadata Coordinator, The Wolfsonian-FIU

Isabel is the Collections Assistant and Metadata Coordinator at The Wolfsonian-FIU. As part of both the Registration and Digital Assets departments, she catalogs and cares for the museum’s object collection, and guides the verification and standardization of object metadata. She has a MA in Public History and Museum Studies from Florida International University and a BS in Communications and History from the University of Miami.

Jessica Brode Frank
Digital Collections Access Manager, Adler Planetarium    

Jessica BrodeFrank is the Digital Collections Access Manager at the Adler Planetarium. She holds a Master’s degree in Museum Studies from George Washington University with a concentration in Digital Asset Management. Having worked at various institutions, she has focused on not only object digitization but also innovative uses for digital surrogates including transcription projects, online exhibitions, and interactives.

Kelly Cannon

Kelly Cannon
Associate Educator, Interpretation, Research, and Digital Learning, The Museum of Modern Art, New York    

Kelly Cannon is Associate Educator of Interpretation, Research and Digital Learning in MoMA’s Department of Education. She collaboratively produces and maintains the Museum’s online courses and develops multimedia interpretive content related to the collection and exhibitions, including audio guides and the podcast A Piece of Work. She studied art history and holds an M.A. from the Courtauld Institute of Art, London, and a B.A. from Yale University.

Sofia Dahlquist

Sofia Dahlquist
Editor and Coordinator, Stockholmskällan, the Education Department in the City of Stockholm, Sweden

Sofia Dahlquist is a coordinator, editor and educator at the Web site Stockholmskällan https://stockholmskallan.stockholm.se/, the City of Stockholm Administration of Education in Sweden. Sofia Dahlquist has a background in the Museum Sector where she has been working as a Museum Educator and Curator specialized on digital pedagogics. Sofia studied Ethnology and has a Bachelor of Arts from Lund University, Sweden.

Jim Fishwick

Jim Fishwick
Assistant Curator, Australian Centre for the Moving Image

Jim Fishwick is an experience designer and theatremaker based in Mebourne, Australia. He is currently an Assistant Curator at ACMI, where he does stuff around designing the relationship between visitors, narrative, digital culture and games, and previously worked in Public Programs at the Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences in Sydney. Jim also specialises in interactive, intimate and immersive performance, and is the General Manager of Jetpack Theatre Collective.

Kelli Huggins

Kelli Huggins
Visitor Experience Coordinator, Catskill Center

Kelli Huggins is the Visitor Experience Coordinator at the Catskill Center. She has a MA in History and Museum Studies Certificate from the University of Delaware. An advocate for small museums, Kelli won the 2014 Museum Association of New York Rising Star Award. In her previous job at the Chemung County Historical Society, she created of Mark the Mammoth, a popular museum mascot on Twitter (@MarktheMammoth). A historian, Kelli is writing a book about canine celebrity in the late 19th century.

Shaz Hussain

Shaz Hussain
Assistant Curator, Science Museum London

Shaz is an Assistant Curator at the Science Museum in London and a committee member of Museum Detox, a network for people of colour in museums and heritage. Shaz is also a freelance diversity and inclusion consultant who has worked across the UK arts sector delivering creative interventions such as the White Privilege Clinic. She was a speaker at the first MCNx event in London in 2018.

Robin Mygatt

Robin Mygatt
Database Administrator, The Contemporary Austin

Robin Mygatt joined The Contemporary Austin in 2015 as Database Administrator. Previously she was the Zvi Grunberg Fellow at the Bruce Museum in Greenwich, CT and received a master's in biology from the University of Kansas Biodiversity Institute & Natural History Museum's Orinthology division. Her interests center on relational databases, science outreach, and birding.

Bethany Noel Nagle 

Bethany Noel Nagle 
Digital Education Manager, Maryland Historical Society

As the Digital Education Manager, I oversee different types of digital projects that educate students and museum visitors! I run our Virtual Field Trip Program, create lessons for K-12 teachers via our online curriculum, manage our smartphone tours, and create exhibit interactives such as iPad exhibit experiences and exhibit films. I received my BA in History and Writing from the University of Michigan and my MA in Public History from American University.

Irene Tobón Restrepo

Irene Tobón Restrepo
Editor of Banrepcultural, Banco de la República de Colombia

Colombian Project manager and Digital producer. Graduated in 2007 as filmmaker, today works in the colombian Central Bank as main editor of Banrepcultural.org, the web site about the cultural activity developed by Banco de la República in more than 30 cultural venues, its collections and services. Her work includes coordinating teams of content production, development and design for different editorial projects. Was the leader of the total redesign of Banrepcultural launched in 2017.

Hillary Hanel Rose
Education Advisor and Museum Studies Lecturer, Girl Museum and Central Michigan University

Hillary is an educator in the fields of Museum Studies, History and Biology. She holds a Master's in Museum Studies and a Bachelor's in Education. Throughout her career, she has worked in museums and schools in Michigan and beyond. She currently works with a 100% virtual museum and teaches future museum professionals. She also enjoys traveling with her husband and playing with her two Siberian Huskies.

Ravon Ruffin
Social Engagement Producer, Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture

Ravon Ruffin is a Social Engagement Producer at the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture. She received her M.A. in American Studies from the George Washington University. Urban sustainability, digital culture and Black Feminism are the lenses through which she seeks to redefine the museum as a community space. She is interested in the acts of self-preservation that social and digital media platforms inspire.

Jessica Elizabeth Stepp
Administration Intern, Museum of Texas Tech University

Jessica Stepp is an Administration Intern at the Museum of Texas Tech University and a Heritage and Museum Sciences Master’s candidate at TTU.  Her interests include museum administration, community engagement, emerging technologies, and disaster preparedness.  Jessica’s thesis topic explores using 3D technologies to increase access to collections objects.  She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History with an Education minor from Rhodes College and a Master of Arts in History from the University of Central Arkansas.

Meredith Whitfield

Meredith Whitfield
Exhibition Developer, The Field Museum    

Meredith Whitfield is an exhibition developer at the Field Museum in Chicago. She holds an MA in Museum Studies from the University of Manchester, and her research includes meming and identity, internet-learned visitor behaviors, and archiving spontaneous memorials. Her current projects include a new home for SUE the T. rex and an exhibit on Tully Monster, Illinois's state fossil. She wants to talk to you about side-eye in Byzantine iconography.
